The Quarter Pony Association Australia Inc values the privacy of our members; inevitably personal information is collected by the association, as is information relevant to the livestock recorded in our studbooks; our practices ensure your information is protected and not shared without consent.

Publicly available studbooks may limit the amount of personal information provided (or provide nil information regards ownership or breeder) however they are often not monitored and kept current at all times.                                                Studbooks may display outdated details; this can leave the validity of the information provided in question or potentially leave the association or society open to legal recourse.   

           

A recent search of a breed society studbook resulted in noting multiple errors with a number of entries including incorrect height, placement of ponies in the wrong category, deceased entries not noted - this reflects the inaccuracies that are inherently a risk when relying on flawed or outdated information.

We do not make our studbooks available for public viewing in accordance with our privacy and protection of information measures.
